Getting a hardware wallet and securely storing your seed phrase will already eliminate 99% of risks with very minimal effort. Start taking your security seriously before it’s too late.
Last night got a text about someone who moved a bunch of BTC from an exchange to a desktop wallet. Computer immediately locked, BTC stolen from the wallet. Had malware waiting for a deposit. Single key self custody on a general purpose computer/phone is not a good idea.

A merchant accepted $123K worth of bitcoin yesterday. Before he can pay his vendors today, it dropped to $115K. The merchant is short the money he needs to pay. It isn't complicated to understand, why bitcoin doesn't work as medium of exchange.
