I’m thrilled to share that I have joined the School of Chemistry, Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology (CCEB) at NTU Singapore as an Assistant Professor! dr.ntu.edu.sg/cris/rp/rp02617
Here's our tribute to Prof. Thomas Strassner's 60th birthday issue in JOMC! We present a series of triethylsilyl capped polyyne; TESCxTES, once thought unisolable, now characterized by NMR and X-ray structures. Polyynes are on the roll in Texas! doi.org/10.1016/j.jorg…
A multipronged approach using 2DIR, EIS and MD monitors ion motion in polymeric membrane. Thanks to @OsujiChinedum group for this collaboration! Correlating Solvation Shell Dynamics and Ion Transport in Highly Ordered Nanoporous Polymers | ChemRxiv - go.shr.lc/4l8NpIt
I'm delighted to share that our newest paper published in J. Chem. Phys. This research explores six-carbon cyclic •QOOH intermediate, which is transiently formed in cyclohexane oxidation. Thanks my coworkers and collaborators. @JChemPhys @PennChemistry pubs.aip.org/aip/jcp/articl…
I am excited to share our latest discovery which is out now in @J_A_C_S! This study uncovers how engineered hemoproteins can leverage biological nitrogen cycle intermediates for enzymatic C–H amination, opening new paths towards sustainable synthesis. pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…
Happy to share my first first author paper now published in @ChemCommun. Really excited where this project is headed towards. Check out the work here 👇🏽
Check out our latest paper "Assembly of a Trapped Valent CeIII/IV-TCNQ Complex Through Metal-Ligand Redox Cooperativity" out now @ChemCommun! Congrats to Himanshu @himanshu_chem and Brett on your nice work! pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…
I'm so excited to announce that my first first-author paper is online @J_A_C_S !! Check out @PGarridoBarros and I's study on photoelectrocatalytic PCET :) It was such a pleasure to work with this fantastic team, and I'm incredibly proud of the result!! 💡⚡️
You seldom see deprotonation of terminal polyynes as opposed to that of an alkyne counterpart. Here we go! Please check out my latest contribution @Orgmet_ACS . The lithiation poses numerous mechanistic puzzles, yet we could successfully (1/2)pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ac…
Happy to share our new article published in Chemical Science. Here, we explored vibrational spectroscopy and dissociation dynamics of a prototypical cyclic hydroperoxide, cyclohexyl hydroperoxide. @ChemicalScience @PennChemistry pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art…
If you want to measure the strength of a lanthanide ion binding to dtpa using vibrational anisotropy, here is the link: pubs.rsc.org/en/content/art… Thanks to Shafer group @jencshafer and Schatz group @GCSchatz for this wonderful collaboration! @NSF_CSSM
The first paper from my postdoc is now out. We demonstrate that a chiral nickel catalyst can effectively control central and axial chirality. Thankful to everyone in the @FuLabCaltech as well as Ruby from @thestoltzgroup. @Caltech @CaltechCCE @J_A_C_S pubs.acs.org/doi/10.1021/ja…
