Seth Hernandez watched Paul Skenes pitch yesterday. He was asked if he's allowed himself to dream about pitching with Skenes one day. "He shoved yesterday, and he's probably going to shove for the rest of his life. If I could kind of follow his footsteps, that'd be great."

Final: Pirates 3, Tigers 0 Paul Skenes gets his first win since May 28. The Pirates snap a three game losing skid against the best team in baseball.
That's it for Skenes. He threw six scoreless innings, allowing three hits and a walk while striking out six. He threw 86 pitches, 55 for strikes.
