Hey, uh, I've only raised $30 today, I only raised $10 yesterday, and I need to raise $400 for the cost of multiple medications tomorrow, some of which are to keep my epilepsy under control. This is extremely time sensitive and urgent a need, I've been doing bad. 💫PLEASE RT💫
So, one of my expenses (shelter) is good until the 31st, but I only have three different sets of clothing right now on top of medications I have to afford and I had to reschedule my doctor appointment because I literally could not afford it. I'm setting a $400 goal please help

She says this right after and the "peacefully" kinda screws her entire point, how do you peacefully kill 6 people and eat their souls? The "taken six SOULs" is also just phrased in a wierd way, like "taking" a soul doesn't imply killing them.
Holy shit, we need to get rid of these people
Bill Clinton's birthday letter to Epstein: "It’s reassuring isn’t it, to have lasted as long, across all the years of learning and knowing, adventures and [illegible word], and also to have your childlike curiosity, the drive to make a difference and the solace of friends"
The South Korean section of the web has everything that pro-censorship people want. Regulated identification needed to get access online, no 18+ content, harsh cybercrime penalties. And it absolutely fucking blows and is overrun with sexpests, rapists, and paedophiles.
South Korea banned porn and requires usage of an ID to go just about anywhere on its internet and it's a miserable hellscape of misogyny, cyberbullying, and dumbasses with horrifying sex crimes on the reg. Britain trying to copy Seoul in this regard won't fix jack shit.
This is honestly one of the hardest questions I've ever been asked.
say what you will about uploading your ID into that tea app to warn about toxic men but it’s sooo on the nose that now that womens information was hacked, hundreds of thousands of men are doxxing them, harassing them, and threatening women
I think it's sweet that undertale has lasted in the culture of the children. You tell a 10 year old you were into that at their age and they look at you with awe and also like you're old as shit
$12 is a bargain, this would cost at least $60 to make at home
went today and here’s how it actually looks
it’s the way the qrts have everything from ‘neglecting the muppets’ to actual human rights violations
What's the worst thing this company's done?

It's weird to be decades into libertarians discovering left market anarchists and still fielding these kinds of critiques. Anarchism isn't "remove the state and whatever might come is good" it's a deep critique of power and thus *obliges* cultural and institutional changes.
Matt criticizes left-libertarians on two points. First, he argues left-libertarians make too strong & radical of predictions about how different a freed market would be from the status quo. Now, I've become less confident in some of these left-libertarian predictions.
Couldnt have asked for a more perfect demonstration of why putting your ID online is a bad idea on the same day that the UK gov enacts online ID laws
It turns out that the "Tea" app DOXXES all its users by uploading both ID and face verification photos, completely uncensored, to a public bucket on their server
i can’t think about air bud or any of the sequels about his 7 puppies without remembering that when they were filming snow buddies they killed like 15 dogs for no reason

the government has a monopoly on violence and this has many downstream consequences. some people suggest that, perhaps, there should not be a monopoly on violence.
Legitimate question: Why are governments in charge of who can and cannot be online? And in charge of what websites can be accessed or not?
