The PCA is fairly broad when it comes to allowable practices in worship but where is the line?
"It seems as though more enemies nowadays are in the church than are outside the church." –John MacArthur (2019)
In his 1796 Farewell Address, George Washington said: “Let it simply be asked where is the security for property, for reputation, for life, if the sense of religious obligation desert the oaths, which are the instruments of investigation in courts of justice?” In other words,…
"reason and experience both forbid us to expect that national morality can prevail in exclusion of religious principle." –George Washington (1796)

Aaron Renn is very insightful when he’s offering cultural and sociological analysis. However, his most recent essay on complementarianism doesn’t engage either theology or history. In this case, his analysis of complementarianism goes awry because he takes his generalizations…
It was a golden maxim of the Protestant fathers, that "doctrines must be preached practically and duties doctrinally." –R. L. Dabney, Sacred Rhetoric (1870), 52
"As I stand by the little grave, and think of the poor ruined clay within, that was a few days ago so beautiful, my heart bleeds. But I ask, ‘where is the soul whose beams gave that clay all its beauty and preciousness?’ I triumph. Has it not already begun, with an infant voice,…
