TROOP AID SUMMER AFTERNOON TEA Members from Rotary Meriden and @wyldegrnrotary met at the recent summer afternoon tea that raised in excess of £1200, enough to fund 30 grab bags containing essential supplies for when serving personnel are first injured. troopaid.info

PRESIDENTIAL HANDOVER After two very successful years as Club President, Paul Lane handed the chain of office to his successor, Alan Boulton. Paul was awarded a Paul Harris Fellowship by his colleagues. It was great to be joined by members of Rotary Uttoxeter.

We had a fascinating visit to Aquabox today, the Derbyshire based charity that provides safe drinking water and humanitarian aid to people affected by natural disasters, extreme weather and conflicts. aquabox.org

What a great evening for our Year 6 boys. Both our teams won their groups and reached the semi finals of @WyldeGrnRotary football competition, with one of our teams going on to win the tournament! Well done boys, we’re so proud of you all!
