I am thrilled to have participated in my first UC President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program academic retreat at the UCLA Lake Arrowhead Lodge. Grateful for the opportunity to share my science, connect with brilliant postdoctoral fellows, and build community across campuses.

On my first day as a postdoctoral research fellow at UCLA, I am thrilled to have received support from the University of California President’s Postdoctoral Program and the National Science Foundation Math and Physical Science ASCEND Postdoctoral Fellowship.

Let's talk about a beautiful community. I am so grateful to @theNASEM for this last opportunity to unite the vibrant, diverse community of #fordfellows. It was a bittersweet moment, but the seed of the fellowship mission will go on as I continue up the academic ranks.

This is my first time flying from and to LAX, and I already got my Delta flight canceled and rescheduled for the next day 💀

After 8 days on the road, I finally got to my new home, Los Angeles. It was the journey of a lifetime: 6 national parks, watching my first Rodeo, and a quick stop in Sacramento to pick up my partner. I am so excited for my new stage as a postdoctoral fellow at @UCLA.
