Spent a very entertaining afternoon speaking to Dave this week about his time at @FCHTOnline and some of the characters he met there, including the manager who signed him - Harry Hooper. You’ll be able to read all about it in the Worthy book, coming 2025
Spent another great morning in Dave’s company this week, hearing stories from his youth. Includes his Dad’s sneaky way of distracting goalkeepers by getting the young Worthington brothers to have a kick about behind the opposition goal
