Winchester Cathedral's Learning Team. We welcome and deliver workshops for schools, those educated at home, uniformed organisations and families.
We have had a wonderful day working with the Education Team at the @WessexRivers to deliver a hands-on, memorable day for 63 pupils from a local school. Who doesn't love a walk along a river and some river dipping on a Friday morning? #FridayFeeling

Tickets are now available for our Summer Family Craft Workshops inside @WinCathedral winchester-cathedral.org.uk/event/children… #FridayVibes

It was wonderful to spend some time with Head Stonemason Ross this morning. We are using some of this footage to create a new video for our Gargoyle Workshop, giving a real glimpse of what it's like to build a cathedral and make gargoyles and grotesques from stone #tuesdayvibe
Happy Friday everyone! 🌞🌻 #FridayFeeling

We had a wonderful morning with boys from @PilgrimsSchool today who had a tour of the Cathedral, including the Crypt which is finally dry! Afterwards they had a William Walker Workshop in the Learning Centre. Not bad for a Tuesday! #tuesdayvibe

That's a butterfly wrap! 🦋 A huge thank you to all the families who came to the last of our Easter Family Craft Workshops today and all those who came this week. We have had so much fun! #FridayVibes #FridayFeeling #Easter

Do you know the story of the deep sea diver who saved @winchestercathedral over 100 years ago? We deliver a William Walker Workshop and tell his story on our Cathedral tour, with actions! You can also pick up a water themed paper trail of the Cathedral from the Box Office.
In the April of 1906, William Walker arrived in Winchester. He was summoned by engineer Sir Francis Fox to travel from London to begin a task which ultimately saved Winchester Cathedral from collapse. Thank you to William Walker 👏
These beautiful butterflies were made in todays Family Craft Workshops by adults and children inside @WinCathedral. We always offer adults a chance to create as well, as it is so much nicer to make together! #WednesdayMotivation #Easter2025
