We are sorry to hear that Des Cowman, founder and first editor of Decies, our journal, has died. Our thoughts are with his family and many friends.
DES COWMAN RIP I'm very sorry to hear of the passing of Des Cowman. Des was a retired history teacher at Christian Brothers Tramore, a mining historian, & author. He contributed hugely to the Copper Coast Geopark & was the authority on mining history in the locality.
