Real spiritual friendship is eagerly helping one another know, serve, love, and resemble God in deeper and deeper ways.
If you only obey God's word when it seems reasonable or profitable to you, that isn't really obedience at all.
This is what I came to the internet for
It's impossible to have met the real Jesus and be indifferent. You either bow down in wonder OR go away offended.
Never forget: women can't know for sure they're women unless they've had their chromosomes checked, but if a man says he's a woman he's definitely a woman and it is highly offensive to mention his chromosomes, which are entirely irrelevant to whether or not a person is a woman.
I know many of you have been hurt, betrayed, and disillusioned by the church (as have I). If I can give you one encouragement to not give up it would be this: find yourself a church pastored by someone who pastors the people right there in the pews—not the people online.
I honestly believe this is one of the biggest mysteries there is, Orcas are the most efficient predators on earth, yet they have never attacked us in the wild. They know something we don’t.
One day you’re young and wild; the next, it’s Tuesday, and you’re dialing into a team's call.
The fish must honor its design. It is designed for water, not for land. Real freedom is not living without restrictions. It's about finding the right ones.
I'm listening to Tim Keller, a few years back, after he'd been diagnosed with cancer. He commented on the lack of community that so many people feel. "When you've got cancer, you don't need a website by a celebrity sufferer, you need someone to make you chicken noodle soup."
If the resurrection is true, then everything’s going to be alright.
You’ve got to put in the big rocks… I mean, big tomatoes first to make this work.

I’ve been painting by # on break, listening to @michaeljkruger teach through the gospels using the @RTSCharlotte app. Super thankful for my seminary training there, both paid and free through the app.
