We were at 46 at this time last year (there were six fatalities from 12/14 to 12/29). This puts us on track for a 17-year high. The 2015 goal for this year was zero.
Vision Zero update: In 2024 so far, 47 people have died in traffic crashes. 18 pedestrians, 10 on motorcycles, 2 on bicycles, 9 as drivers, 7 as passengers. The number was 52 for all of 2023, and our goal - as the name vision zero suggests - is zero. We're not close.
