The gap between Anglican Church and Catholic Church is not wide....but it is very deep.
Don't complain. Either do something about it, or if you can't, maintain a dignified silence and offer it up.
Theological nit-picking diverts one's energies from the long, hard journey (by God's grace) of theosis.
The Catholic faith attracts intellectuals and the not so bright, the rich and the poor, the well connected and the disconnected.

Catholic trivia: Movie star Tommy Lee Jones attended Harvard university (where he was room mates with VP Al Gore.) His senior thesis was on "The Mechanics of Catholicism in the fiction of Flannery O'Connor. Jones is not a Catholic.
Protestant protesting about Catholics calling priests "Father"? Ask them this: Jesus said to pluck out your eye if it causes you to sin, and cut off your hand if you sin with it. Blind and handless yet?
Protestant: "Priests have no power to forgive sin!" Catholic: "Agreed. It is Jesus who forgives sin through his Body the Church. The priest is just the instrument of this forgiveness."
