The Renew NC Single-Family Housing Program is accepting applications to help eligible homeowners in western North Carolina repair or rebuild homes damaged by Hurricane Helene. There are 4 ways to apply. Visit renewnc.org for more information.
The “SmBIZ” Program directs funding to local governments to speed up the repair of infrastructure impacting the operation of small businesses. There is no application deadline, and awards will be made on a rolling basis. bit.ly/3H15qcB

The Disaster Recovery Act of 2025 – Part 2 directs more than $576M to expedite western North Carolina recovery efforts. These funds will repair private roads and bridges, support wildfire prevention, prevent landslides, repair dams, and support our schools.

Last night, Josh and I ended our week out west with a reception honoring our western state employees. Whether in the field, in the office, or coming together to help communities heal after Hurricane Helene, they play a vital role in creating a safer and stronger NC. Thank you!
