Following the escalation in As-Sweida, WHO has deployed mobile teams to reach displaced families with urgent care, including maternal health, mental health support and essential medicines. Five attacks on health care have been confirmed. Health care must be protected. Always.
In response to violence in As-Sweida, 3 @WHO-supported mobile teams are providing urgent care to displaced families in Dar’a. With the local health directorate and thanks to @UNCERF funding, teams offer outpatient care, maternal & child health & mental health support.

A @SYRedCrescent convoy carrying a truck with @WHO trauma kits entered Sweida today – the first @WHO delivery since the escalation began. In coordination with the Ministry of Health & Ministry of Emergency & Disaster Management, 10 kits were delivered, enough for 500 surgeries.
