Today, @WFP & Syria’s Ministry of Economy & Industry signed a Strategic Agreement to strengthen the food value chain in #Syria. The first priority: investing in the bread value chain. Together, we’re supporting food security and creating livelihood opportunities for all Syrians.

Thanks to @SwissDevCoop and @francediplo's generous contribution, @WFP_Syria and @MoSAL_Syria are launching Syria’s first nutrition-sensitive social protection programme. Our goal: safeguard food security, promote social cohesion, advance equity & empower Syria’s next generation.

On the final day of the social protection workshop, @ILO, @UNICEF, @WFP & #MOSAL agreed on #Syria’s priorities to support vulnerable groups: inclusive data, capacity building, developed legislative systems, funding framework & awareness.

Today in Dara’a, @WFP_Syria together with the Government of Syria began distributing fortified #bread, reaching families in deep need with nourishment and dignity. With support from 🇬🇧🇱🇺🇳🇴#GrainFromUkraine, we’re showing what’s possible when compassion meets action. #FoodSecurity
