#NewsUpdate 🚨 In #Ethiopia,@WFP supports over 100,000 refugees fleeing the conflict in #Sudan with cash, in-kind, & nutrition assistance. Without urgent new funding, WFP will not be able to keep delivering this life-saving assistance.

Today in #Somali region, @JapanEthiopia, @WFP & @NEC have launched joint collaboration to strengthen agricultural monitoring & advisory systems. This joint innovation is set to transform #agriculture in #Somali region 🇪🇹 by enhancing early warning advisory systems for farmers.

Thanks to @UPS_Foundation & #UNHRD, over 18MT of @WFP high-energy biscuits have been airlifted from Dubai to support families fleeing crisis in #SouthSudan. These life-saving supplies have just arrived in 🇪🇹, where they will assist people crossing the border in search of safety.

Zeinab & her family fled #Sudan for 🇪🇹 8 months ago. Full rations sustain new arrivals like Zeinab & her children on a monthly basis, who rely on @WFP's food assistance in the form of cash transfers. Without urgent funding, @WFP cannot sustain its emergency support.

Thousands are fleeing conflict in #SouthSudan and crossing into #Ethiopia. @WFP is on the ground and supporting them with high-energy biscuits to meet their immediate food needs. Funding is urgently required to support the new arrivals with food, water and shelter.
