Figma Make is out of beta and available to all, go take it for a spin!
Prompt it. Then push it to make it better. Figma Make, now available for everyone to try
very difficult lesson that developing a precise, theoretical understanding of a system/industry/company and developing an intuition/feel for how that thing actually works are two entirely different and often contradictory activities the more you “know” the less you actually do
Can confirm. It’s night and day. I made 10x the progress in 1/2 the time working with a professional than I did messing around on my own. Not exaggerating. Great teachers and coaches are priceless.
I started taking guitar lessons 2 years ago after playing for 10 years, I’ve improved much faster with lessons than I had without

The general view of the UK economy is that it's been stagnating for decades now. But on some of the most important metrics it's actually going backwards...
I’ve worked for a few companies now from start-up through IPO and beyond. Here’s five lessons I’ve carried with me as an investor. None of them show up in a spreadsheet. 1. Culture is a company’s second product: Companies have two products - The one they sell to their customers…
Do you have any experience(s) with public companies that have shaped how you view them as an investor? I'll start:
Adam Neumann had this vision and look what they did to him /s
One thought on the “cooking is more expensive than DoorDash” discourse is that if it were legal to build, I think a lot of twentysomethins would enjoy living in dorm-style accommodations where you don’t have a kitchen but you do have access to a cafeteria with cheap meals.
The 50% meme needs to die. It pollutes the discourse and is simply bad data that somehow got traction. Not only are divorce rates falling overall, but if you drill into the stats by even 1 or 2 socioeconomic factors, the picture looks completely different.
It looks like new marriages are (shockingly) stronger than in past decades. 🧵
I've used something exactly like this. It wasn't as helpful or interesting as I thought it'd be in practice, but the models and tools have gotten a lot better since then.
new project: multiplayer AI groupchats chord is a messaging app that integrates custom AI models into your groupchats. the llms hav full context on your group chat history and participants. it can help you brainstorm, roast your friends, or anything else an LLM can do, but now…
Totally agree. Those years are priceless. You can’t get them back so use them wisely and most importantly, in a way that feels true to yourself.
Don't drop out of college to start or work for a startup. There will be other (and probably better) startup opportunities, but you can't get your college years back.
I hope Sonos finds their stride again, rooting for them!
I’ve been asked to be the next CEO of Sonos. Grateful for the perspectives and critiques that many of you have shared here these last 6 months while I was interim. So excited for the road ahead.
RIP to an absolute legend. Black Sabbath is the reason I started self-learning guitar in high school and 100% inspired my love of heavy metal. bbc.com/news/live/cn0q…

"Doomers and AI maximalists share the same naivety about how quickly and easily you can deploy software to big companies and how easy other people’s jobs are. It’s always hard and it always takes time." - @benedictevans
Oh man, such great forces and frames of thinking in our industry coming together. Love to see it.
So excited to welcome @mikeyk and @LuisvonAhn to @Figma’s board. They are friends, visionaries and legends — and I’m so excited to get their help making Figma better for our community. figma.com/blog/mike-krie…
