There was increased fire activity in #MonroeCanyonFire today, in area west of Magleby area. Fire is established by Third Lefthand Fork and Jackass Creeks. Weather today exhibited crown runs, group torching and spotting. Firefighters are continuing structure protection in Magleby



#RickSpringsFire - Final Update Logan, Utah, July 25, 2025 100% contained at 26 acres. The Northern Utah Type 3 Incident Management Team will transfer command of the fire to the local unit tomorrow morning, who will continue to patrol the fire area. Hwy 89 remains open

Heavy smoke from northern Arizona wildfires will lead to a continuation of heavy smoke concentrations across southeast Utah through at least Saturday. The smoke will lead to degraded air quality and visibility, especially in the Lake Powell area. Limit or avoid time outdoors.
🔥 Smoke may also impact towns near the Monroe Canyon fire including Monroe and Richfield. Smoke may cause reduced visibility on US-89 near Richfield as well as I-70, especially at night over the next few days. Be careful out there! #utwx
