🔬Happening Now: The Introduction to Comparison Microscopy Workshop in 🇦🇬 is underway! Participants are exploring the fundamentals of firearms examination and learn how to separate ammunition in preparation for test firing and microscopic analysis. Funded by @CanadaFP

🤝This week, UNLIREC met with Commissioner Marlon Lagos, Deputy Director of the @dpi_honduras and National Contact Point of 🇭🇳 for the Central American Roadmap. We discussed progress on the Roadmap and UNLIREC's technical assistance on arms control.

🔔 This week, States are meeting in New York to prepare the implementation of the Global Framework on Ammunition #GFA. ✅ The Caribbean and Central American Roadmaps are concrete examples of how this framework is being translated into regional and national actions.

🔵 The first-ever #SALWFellowship Training Programme for the Caribbean has officially launched! 🌍 Taking place from June to August 2025, the Fellowship builds technical expertise, strengthens regional cooperation, and empowers a generation of leaders advancing arms control.
