UNODA held a briefing for interns from the Temple of Understanding this week; @The_ToU is a non-profit interfaith organization based out of NYC. The briefing focused on: · Arms spending transparency · Gender Equality in disarmament · ODA's youth program, Youth4disarmament #Y4D


ODA Director @AdedejiEbo met with participants in the OEWG ICTs Sponsorship Programme, made possible by France and Ireland. This week is a critical opportunity to lay the foundations of an action-oriented, permanent mechanism, inclusive and representative of all States.


On 2 July, @UN_Disarmament, @mofakr_eng and @UNIDIR, held a workshop "Charting the Course for Responsible AI in the Military Domain” as part of the “Military AI, Peace & Security Dialogues.” States exchanged on a range of issues, including to identify convergences.
