When you see cattle showing defensive behaviors such as tail flicking, skin twitching, leg stamping, lying with their legs tucked underneath, standing in water, or bunching in corners of pastures, they are likely being attacked by the stable fly. More at beef.unl.edu/stable-flies-p…
The prussic acid free sorghum Sudan regrowth is looking pretty good. Been rotationally grazing for a month with paddocks grazed twice so far. Hope to get to October grazing this field. @UNLBeef @NebENREEC

Sudangrass is relatively drought-tolerant. While it still needs moisture to germinate, once established, it can continue to produce with limited rainfall. This makes it a valuable option when rainfall is uncertain and pasture growth is limited. More at beef.unl.edu/need-summer-gr…
