A research project funded by the National Crop Insurance Services, Inc. is currently investigating the impact of defoliation on hops recovery and ultimate yield, with the goal of supporting growers throughout the Midwest. 🔬



In the July edition of the West Central Seminar Series, Claudia Marchezan described the different cultural dimensions and how they can play a vital role in the workplace. 🤝

Today, we are out with our MITLab trailer looking at uniformity of the pivots for farmers. Using catch-can tests and drone imaging. Farmers will receive detailed reports about their pivots' water application performance based on data insights. @wcreec @UNL_BSE @UNLExtension
Our program provides soil moisture technology to farmers. They get an opportunity to test it in their fields but also appreciate how data can inform their irrigation decisions. Ultimate goal is to produce more with less water using data from farms. @wcreec @UNLExtension @UNL_BSE
