It takes strength to heal. To build. To choose peace in a world fractured by conflict. Nelson Mandela's words resonate as strong today as they ever have. On #MandelaDay, we honour his legacy of fighting for justice, dignity and equality.
When you visit countries and communities devastated by conflicts and violence, and listen to people forced to flee, you can only agree with late Madiba: “It is easy to break down and destroy. The heroes are those who make peace and build”. #Peace #Dignity #MandelaDay

Despite limited funds, hope shines bright in 🇹🇿 refugee camps. UNHCR & partners reached 35,596 children 6-59 months old (98.1% of our target) with lifesaving Vitamin A, deworming & malnutrition screening during Child Health & Nutrition Month. Simple steps. Powerful impact. 💛
