NEWS: The Cleveland #Browns are signing @USFLPanthers RB Toa Taua, per source. Taua led the #UFL in rushing touchdowns with six, while proving to be an elite offensive machine for Michigan across the board. Browns turning to the UFL for some RB depth.
As the Panthers were top 3 in attendance in 2025, it's difficult to say the Panthers fanbase didn't show up. The league clearly doesn't care to see if we show up in Ypsilanti if Ford Field is too expensive/unwilling to renew their contract. That's a mistake.
I appreciate the need to do "something." I get it. And there's always going to be a faction in each city, such as yourself, that is willing to "show up." The problem comes when not enough people in that city are willing to "show up" to games to make it financially viable. #UFL
There's other venues that while not preferable (Rynearson) they're still better than dismantling an entire market especially the only one to grow in 2025. A petition isn't foolproof, but it's food for thought while the UFL still seeks to finalize stadium deals in new markets.
I appreciate that #UFL fans want to do everything in their power to "save" their teams from extinction. The problem is, it appears as if the reason they're in this mess has to do more with the venue, either $ or workability. And a petition isn't going to eliminate those barriers.

News: The New England #Patriots are working out @USFLPanthers DB Kedrick Whitehead today, per sources. Whitehead earned All-UFL honors with Michigan in 2025, alongside being named #UFL Special Teams POTY. Versatile DB with plenty of experience at corner & safety.
.@JamesLarsenPFN broke the news that the Michigan Panthers would be moving. He told me a big part of that was the bill the league had to pay to play at Ford Field. There were discussions about moving to other area venues as well. Hear more on @WWJ950

It looks like Michigan Panthers fans have started a petition to keep the team in the state. Their proposal is to move the games to EMU and then permanently house the team in the new DCFC stadium once complete: change.org/p/save-the-mic…
