In Cyprus’ time of need, Europe responds. After the #EUCivilProtection Mechanism was activated, 2 planes from 🇪🇸 were deployed to fight wildfires in Limassol. This wildfire season, 🇪🇺 has helped 🇦🇱 🇲🇰 🇸🇾 and prepositioned 650 firefighters from 14 countries ↓

Today’s Summit was the opportunity to work toward concrete progress in key areas of our bilateral relationship. While also clearly explaining our concerns. We remain committed to frank, respectful and open dialogue with China ↓

The EU-China cooperation on climate can set a global benchmark. So our joint press statement is an important step forward. We will work together to make COP30 a success.

Dear Premier Li, Europe believes in the power of free trade to drive prosperity. But it has to be fair. So we need to address market access, overcapacity and export control. Rebalancing is also in the interest of stronger 🇪🇺🇨🇳 relations ↓
