My 3 year old daughter asked me "what is a Traveller?" Before I could answer, my 5 year old son told her "its what we are. It's people who do good things and share their toys and talk like we do but sometimes people don't like us". Sometimes a child can explain things better

My cousin was stopping on a piece of ground with his family (with permission), yet the locals in the area are all over social media complaining they are there. What more does he have to do to have a quiet life? It's his family who are suffering. His wife and children.

I am sick of seeing people commenting on videos or stories with Travellers in calling us all criminals or worse. It's the same old stories regurgitated every time. When I counter with stories of Dale Cregan or Myra Hindley, they then resort to name calling. It's baffling.

Had this sent in. People are constantly abusing and rejecting the basic human rights of Travellers. We can't get into pubs. We can't get into venues. We get followed around shops by security. Yet it's tolerated by society. It's been like this for generations
