I actually love this idea. The AAC is at the forefront of the G6 right now being innovative and transformative looking to stay ahead of their competition. Im not a huge fan of the eagle itself, but everything about this idea is 💯, IMO. Well done @Tim_Pernetti & @American_Conf

The American Conference is announcing later today a renaming, retiring the names “American Athletic Conference” and “AAC” in place of “American Conference” or “American.” The renaming comes with the creation of various rebranding concepts, including a new mascot: Soar the Eagle.
