VVD Policy - "Raise electoral threshold from 0.67% to 2%" in the Netherlands YES, Long overdue for the Netherlands Common VVD win
🏛️GOVERNMENT -Raise electoral threshold from 0.67% to 2% -Reduce period to call an early election -Increase AI usage in govt agencies/ministries -Cut number of civil servants while reducing dependency on external consultants -Restrict social policy powers of municipalities
I find it astounding that the government didn't implement some sort of gendarmerie after Southport, the public support was there and it was clear that the state lacked the capacity to deal with it. You really can't underestimate their incompetence.
UK has: - 170,500 police officers (35% female, ~15% riot police) - 108,400 army personnel (19,400 are infantry) So riot police + infantry ~ 45,000 Population that is male, white British, working class (self-identified), aged 16-40, no disability: ~ 3,800,000 Ratio of 1 : 84
Man this is fantastic!
VVD just released its electoral manifesto And it’s terrible… Massive cuts on social spending, especially for municipalities, to fund tax cuts for businesses and 3.5% defence spending

Liberal Unionist Party....
Dom says they need to change the name. Suggestions?
I'm probably the only person who liked old Britain content in TNO but I'll stand by it. It was and played with interesting ideas (particularly the Thatcher stuff!) and is far superior to the slop that came after.
