You can commit murder for $2000 in Toronto as long as you're in a car

here is one from kitchener, on a regional road. almost like the people who plan these and who place these do not use sidewalks or trails.
I grew up in Guelph with no bike lanes, so I love they exist now. However, if you are creating lanes for people, safety cannot be an afterthought. While it's great there will be no trucks in this bi-directional bike lane on Speedvale (@ Woolwich), this is an obvious hazard.

We spoke w Ian Hanomansing about the rise in e-scooter injuries. We want everyone to know their rights & responsibilities & the inherent dangers that exist on our roadways (pst motorists). Check out the full clip here: cbc.ca/player/play/vi… Our Blog: thebikinglawyer.ca/post/e-scooter…
We can all screenshot headlines, Brad. How about offering condolences to the people impacted by what, so far this year at least, is a relatively rare tragedy in a city that regularly ranks globally for safety?
These headlines are all from the past 24 hours. Shootings and stabbings, all across Toronto. Is it any wonder that residents feel less safe? @CP24
Thank god!
COLLISION: (UPDATE) 8:55 a.m - Cyclist's injuries have been determined to be non-life threatening - All roads have been opened up #GO1495822 ^vs
Cyclist struck, now in trauma center at 5:45 this AM, hit at Bloor and Dufferin. I'm usually running through there at this time. We've had clients hit here before. Praying for this person, sending love: cp24.com/news/2025/07/1…
It was great to meet Andrew who took the initiative to build ttcmap.ca and show the way on how the TTC can better communicate information about service. We’re fortunate to have such dedicated transit riders in Toronto.
Andrew, TTCriders, is deputing on how confusing, redundant and hard to find information about delays, shut downs, and service metrics etc.
I had the audacity of criticizing @TorontoPolice Cst Jung for filming/ticketing cyclists rolling reds then encouraging anti-cyclist comments. He used my assault against me then blocked me for being critical. We pay this youtuber $224K per year: instagram.com/p/DMNc5sTxU9w/…

My client and I are on w John Moore in 5!
After a cyclist struck this curb in a new bike lane on Eglinton Ave, @TheBikingLawyer alerted the city of the hazard. But nothing was done and a second cyclist has been inured hitting the same curb. Both David Shellnutt and his client join @MooreintheAM at 7:35am.

On May 11 we alerted @cityoftoronto to a serious road hazard that injured our cyclist client. Over a month nothing was done & we were contacted on June 29 by a second cyclist seriously injured at the same spot. For the safety of our community we decided to take action!
Too: -fast -intoxicated -dark -old and young -many riders -much head exposed without a helmet -little education and enforcment E-scooters are here to stay. Cars are the biggest killers. We need more e-scooter safety. By @abbyjobrien with @drosenfield @TheBikingLawyer…
