Two years ago I retired from pro soccer with the goal of Building Better Neighborhoods Since then I’ve been a part of • Developing 301 homes • Signing leases with amazing small businesses • Building offices for Fortune 500 companies • Creating some of the city’s best public…

Charlotte needs to build a public high school in Uptown There are currently ZERO public high schools in this 30 square mile area surrounding the center of the city Where are families who live in the city supposed to send their kids?

Spent the afternoon meeting with artists and riding around Charlotte with @Tesho13. This city is so ripe and ready for change. There is so much passion in these streets, and I cannot wait to help harness that energy and channel it toward making Charlotte the city it can be.
When you shop with a small business at Camp North End, you’re often talking directly to the owner. Dean helps you find the perfect Jazz album. Brittni serves you a slice of amazing cheesecake. Jules knows the right plant for your living room. The list goes on! You’re not buying…

Houses on smaller lots are less expensive. Houses on smaller lots make better use of infrastructure Houses on smaller lots permit density And smaller lots don’t prevent those who want bigger lots - or rural lots on govt land - from living there. They just create more…

It's bizarre to think a person who adores walkable neighborhoods must hate cars.
While I did not file to run this year for council or mayor, I am committing RIGHT NOW to a 2027 run, when I see less incumbency as an obstacle. So expect my face in way more places over the next 24 months and I hope to see you at the polls in 2027.
*Taps Mic* "Is this mic on?" Hey guys, its been a tough week in Charlotte so pull up a chair, or put down the toilet seat, and lets chat. CLT needs new leadership. New vision. A clear direction. We can’t keep pretending everything’s fine. 🧵
Starting a petition to make @CLTdevelopment run for City Council!

The average number of people living in a house has dropped by 34% since 1950 This means that even with no population growth, cities can experience a housing shortage A city of 1M residents in 1950 only needed 263k homes A city of 1M residents today needs 400k homes
