How all Hornets fans will be sleeping tonight
Heres a fun list for you guys: Kinston, Lumberton Sanford, Winston-Salem, Charlotte. Anybody have a guess what these cities have in common? These are the ONLY cities in North Carolina that have partisan elections in city races.
This x100, and expand that to all levels of government. Why do we need political parties? They eliminate all independent thought. Look no further than senate or house votes at state or federal levels: all along party lines with almost no dissenting opinions, regardless of topic.
Spent the afternoon meeting with artists and riding around Charlotte with @Tesho13. This city is so ripe and ready for change. There is so much passion in these streets, and I cannot wait to help harness that energy and channel it toward making Charlotte the city it can be.
The Urbanist argument for fiscal conservatives: using identically sized blocks in my neighborhood Left side • 17 houses • Assessed value/acre $2.9M Right side • 16 houses • 65 apartments • 3 retail businesses • Assessed value/acre: $7.9M The block on the right provides…

Time to get rid of partisan politics and become pro business. Rising tides raise all boats!
Thinking city politics should be about party vs. policy is what is comedy gold. It's hilarious when people come out of the woodwork acting like they understand city level issues and then blame a party. I've worked across the aisle and maintain strong relationships all over.
Had the day he voted for and thinks voting for the same party will change things. Comedic gold right here.
The future is not self-driving single-occupancy vehicles, FULL stop. By 2032 we will be the 11th largest city in the country. We do not have room on our streets for more cars, we do however have room for self-driving buses and trains. We need to prioritize the future.
CLT missed the boat for public transportation. You're looking in the mirror at a world you could never catch up to. The future will be autonomous self-driving vehicles. Don't waste taxpayer money to chase "ridership" and to build train tracks to nowhere. #ncpol
I find it very fascinating, the ego it takes for people to move to Charlotte and immediately think they can speak for the market. Can’t imagine say moving to Pittsburgh and within 5 years thinking I know enough to tell life long fans that I speak for their history, culture, etc
