May 2025 will mark three years since @TaraMoore92 tested positive for a banned substance, tarnishing her reputation and leaving her career in limbo. Tara caught up with The Grind podcast, affiliated with #TheFirstServe, in an important interview. thefirstserve.com.au/post/i-thought…
The only thing people seem to agree on is that the anti-doping system is broken and it has been for a very long time. It was unfair to Simona Halep who received a 4-year ban, which was reduced to 9 months (contaminated supplement, bore no significant fault or negligence, CAS…
Can we ask how many people trust the itia? @nick_bcarter
Results of the polls are in 71% do not believe Sinner or Swiatek to be deliberate cheaters 59% do not believe doping is widespread in tennis 59% do not think that positive doping results should be announced ASAP 53% do think ranking has an effect on outcomes of investigations
WTA sponsored by USANA 🤷🏽♀️
I’m sorry. This was not an “unfortunate incident.” A real unfortunate incident is something you cannot control. Tennis can - and should! - no, must! - control its own anti-doping process. Athletes indeed face “challenges.” Like, the weather. And their opponents. But the messy,…
When will the @WTA @atptour @ITFTennis @Wimbledon @usopen @rolandgarros @AustralianOpen investigate the ITIA & their procedures for a more fair/ open approach? The @ptpaplayers cannot do this alone! Players are afraid of the institutions that are supposed to protect us! Ask them!
Statement from the WTA: The WTA acknowledges the decision by the International Tennis Integrity Association (ITIA) – which administers the Tennis Anti-Doping Program (TADP) – in issuing a one-month suspension to Iga Swiatek, following the identification of a contaminated…
You don’t have to agree , just read with an open heart❤️

Honestly disgusting looking at some of the comments about what happened to Fran. She’s an incredible fighter & literally got in last night from a different country to play here. Altitude is no joke. Just because you lost a bet doesn’t mean a player is cheating you.
How can you feel bad for someone who does this consistently when she’s about to lose… ridiculous it doesn’t get punished such a good actor😭
I guess they spend all their money on a logo but can’t adjust on all platforms Tour and TV . WTATV their broadcast data platform where the money has to be made is still in old format
I’m done with arguing with sinner fans. I don’t think any of this was sinners fault. I’m simply asking that everyone get the same treatment. I hope his case will further improve the conditions in which players are treated and will be a precedent for future cases timelines. Bye.
Why am I only just hearing about this? Why did no tennis players know about this??? I didn’t get one single email or letter or notice about this at the Aus open….. 🥲🤣
ITIA had a hearing during the aus open and only 1 player showed up lol. they stay ignorant on purpose then complain they dont understand
At this stage, if all players are treated the same and this is future precedent, I wouldn’t be bothered, but we all know it won’t be. Why can’t we all be treated the same?
Jessica Pegula: “If you're clean or not, the process is completely broken.” thenationalnews.com/sport/tennis/2…
This?? Can someone explain how a negotiation was possible?
Is the Sinner 3 month ban which was agreed by player and CAS correct ? How is this due process? Does this set a precedent for the whole system now?
𝑨𝒍𝒍 players deserve equitable access to counsel and due process. That's why we're thrilled to unveil the PTPA Athlete Counsel & Equity (ACE) Program, founded in partnership with @TaraMoore92. The program will provide players facing complex legal challenges with free,…
This! That’s why I’m so excited to announce that I’m working in tandem with King & Spalding Law & @ptpaplayers to offer pro bono council to players who don’t have the funds for representation. Hopefully no other player needs to go 200K+ into debt to prove their innocence.
There’s no corruption with provisional suspensions. Everyone has 10 days to appeal. The rules are consistent no matter status. Point is top players have more resources financially to hire an expert team working to find the source of the positive test. The gap in resources exists.
Nikola Bartunkova just got six months for accidental contamination of the same substance via a supplement x.com/jamesgraysport…
Two weeks ago, Nikola Bartunkova was given a six-month ban after testing positive for TMZ, because of a contaminated product. The Swiatek decision states her ban is shorter becuase it was a medication, not a supplement, and because EU medicines are more reliable.
Wait… so she was supposed to be suspended until Dec 4th yet played BJK cup.. which was (correct me if I’m wrong) LAST WEEK. HOW WAS SHE ALLOWED TO PLAY WHILST BEING SUSPENDED??? Someone plz explain cause I’m spiralling. @jon_wertheim @Tennis @TennisChannel
🚨 Iga Swiatek tested positive for a banned substance in August 2024 due to contaminated melatonin. Swiatek was provisionally suspended from September 22nd to October 4th and accepted a one month suspension which will end on December 4th.
Sorry but we get USANA products for free and they also supply melatonin. You’re saying the no.1 in the world couldn’t ask WTA to fast track ship her some? I mean I don’t even take anything that’s NOT USANA and I’m a lowly ranked player 🥴
1/x Thread. This is a review of the Issued Decision for Iga Swiatek in relation to her failed test for the banned substance Trimetazidine (TMZ).
