Dr. Silverman was one of the most fascinating and interesting professors I've ever had at Tulane. I loved spending time with him the urban gardening class in addition to carpooling together to my service learning.
Such sad news! I spoke to Keith just a few weeks ago. He sounded strong but knew the end was near. I’m so glad he sent me his poetry book, Aeolian Sonnets-- beautiful poems, artfully constructed and moving. I will try to find out how to get a copy if you're interested.
Keith Silverman (PhD, 2020) has passed away. Since leaving Tulane, Keith was elected to the Danville, VA school board and teaching at Danville Community College. He taught several popular courses while at Tulane and was an active member of the Department. He will be missed.
