One of my favorite vistas in the French Quarter, viewable from the 500 block of Toulouse Street looking toward the Girod (Napoleon) House.

On Conti Street in the French Quarter, last vestiges of the wholesale fur district in this area through the early to mid-1950s, where coatmakers purchased raw muskrat pelts trapped in St. Bernard Parish.
