They wanted him a lot Mar. 2024. Now? Not so sure. They really like their DL. I get the B-Flo connection, but have to imagine Wilkins will have better opportunities elsewhere. But I’ll add: whatever the extent of his injury is, he’d get A+ rehab here! But still see him elsewhere.
I'm not buying the story the Vikings offered Sam Darnold a contract because they wanted to keep him. I think they offered him a contract knowing he wouldn't accept. As far as Daniel Jones, they wanted him back as a backup. He would not be QB1 right now and that's why he left.
