Traffic is being diverted off I-24 @ Waldron Rd. due to an investigation near the Rutherford-Davidson Co. line. Drivers may exit to the right, turn left onto U.S. Hwy. 41 & re-enter I-24 at Old Hickory Blvd. An alternate route is U.S. Hwy. 41 (New Nashville Hwy). Expect delays.
A Rutherford County man died after being shot about 7:50 today while driving Saturday on I-24 near Waldron Road, @RCTNSheriff said. The man’s identity is not being released until his family is notified. If you have info, please call Det. Burnett @ 615-904-3052 & leave a message.
