Could not disagree more. Distribution rules in a world where knowledge is flattened. Long $goog and $aapl. Also, this is a good write up from @BTurtel open.substack.com/pub/bturtel/p/…
There’s something strangely encouraging about watching Apple fall flat on its face with AI because it’s a reminder that money can’t guarantee excellence or creativity.
“The first use of good literature is that it prevents a man from being merely modern. To be merely modern is to condemn oneself to an ultimate narrowness.” G.K. Chesterton

0% AI is slow. But 100% AI is slop. So the optimal amount of AI is actually between 0-100%. The exact figure varies by situation, but just the idea that 0% and 100% are both suboptimal is useful. It's the Laffer Curve, but for AI.

Lawyers are expensive, but *looking* like you have a lawyer is free. Today, I'm happy to announce my latest project, Heavyweight! Heavyweight lets you take any complaint you have, and make it look like a scary legal document without ever actually claiming to be from a lawyer.
Cocomelon cuts to a new shot every 2-3 seconds because they figured out toddlers will lose focus unless you constantly blast their occipital lobe with new images. The first Cocomelon viewers are now old enough to vote.
Good morning! I'm in Uganda to visit family and friends. But depending on your perspective, don't worry or I'm sorry: I'll be back by the end of the month. See you soon, NYC.
