Today , STP-K held a training for journalists in Mombasa and Kilifi counties to highlight the importance of regular TB check-ups. According to the National Coordinator Evelyne Kibuchi, factors like malnutrition, and stigma discourage people from seeking medical help. #endtb



Last week, STP-K conducted journalists sensitization in Meru County. Their engagement can effectively raise public awareness, reduce stigma, and influence policy decisions related to TB control. Media coverage educates the public, dispels myths, and encourages treatment seeking.


"Donor support is declining. The only support left now is from the counties. Our MCAs have a strong voice when it comes to allocation of funds; we are here to table the importance of budgeting enough for TB," Evaline Kibuchi during a recent engagement with MCAs in Meru County.
