Texas isn't *that* German tho (and certainly GA isn't) and Fehnrebach doesn't seem to agree:
“LADY CROOM: But surely a hermit who takes a newspaper is not a hermit in whom one can have complete confidence."

This should be required from *all* universities as a condition of federal funding. The data must be made public. It should not require a computer hacker to reveal the hidden racial discrimination.
Corporate America actually surpasses Europe in building walkable streets at theme parks
This is an important example of a host of negative effects I didn't mention. I also didn't mention the devastating effects on the morale of the students who can't keep up intellectually. One of the most ignored evils of college-level affirmative action are the high dropout rates…
I'm sure you're right but I think you underestimate the negative influence that weaker students have on the classroom. It's not just that everything slows down while they try to catch up, but to gain recognition, they become actively disruptive.

pleased to announce I'm starting a substack! (link below) It's been fun being lazy and posting low-effort content on X while walking my dog and procrastinating getting out of bed in the morning. But I need to have some of these arguments in long-form, with citations, and in a…
