The family of murder victim Paul Byrne told me how their “lives have been ripped apart” as they continue their fight for justice 16 years after he was last seen alive. Paul’s brother Mark was just 12 when his brother disappeared. Full story here. thesun.ie/news/15565550/…
See the Orange lodge that gave off about kids playing cricket because Comber doesn’t like the GAA commemorating the Ra? They spent the Twelfth with a band of the same name that played at a memorial parade for a Shankill UVF killer a week earlier. Nice. belfastmedia.com/comber-orange-…
You tremble because your belief is built on sand. Children are children, sport is sport. Intolerance is a lack of education…
A cross-community sports summer camp in County Down is cancelled after an Orange lodge and others objected to the involvement of a "small group of children from a GAA club".bbc.in/4lGH3Qo
“The PSNI won’t enforce the law. Unionist politicians tell them not to, for if they do, they won’t support them.” ~Brian Feeney The Irish News ☕️🥐
Well worth a retweet of this article from this time last year. ‘We are not cross-community, we are every community’: East Belfast GAA continues to grow despite threats over the last four years belfasttelegraph.co.uk/sport/gaa/we-a…
Pathetically short sighted and bigoted. Forcing children to live on Ulster's narrow ground lest they enjoy - God forbid - holding both a hurl and a cricket bat. We are inching towards a more shared future, and some people are petrified of it.

Programme on the brutal murder of Nadine Lott currently being shown to audiences in the UK. Powerful contributions from Nadine’s family in the documentary.

I’m so sorry to hear about the death of photographer Mick O’Neill. Met him at the Garda conferences over the years and he was a gent. He was a fantastic journalist who helped many of his colleagues get great stories through his brilliant work. May he rest in peace.
We’re all devastated by the death of our much loved photographer, colleague and friend Mick O’Neill. He died in an RTA yesterday in Dublin. Mick was the snapper’s snapper. There was nobody who came close to him. He travelled all over Ireland and the world doing a job he loved and…

Every year in Northern Ireland the British government allows the tricolour to be burned freely. In this particular bonfire there's an effigy of Kneecap thrown into the bargain. Imagine - for a second - this was an Israeli flag.
I am not a Catholic. It is 2025 in the UK. Hate is supposed to be a crime but KAT (Kill All Catholics) is still allowed to appear on Loyalists bonfires: irishnews.com/news/northern-… Last week my native city Glasgow was subjected to the same hatred. Something has to be done about this

Let's stop calling them paramilitaries, but narco criminals, child groomers, human traffickers. They are a cancer on working class PUL areas and in this case potentially want the locals to inhale cancerous asbestos fumes. At what point as a society do we say enough is enough?
A senior paramilitary source has issued the following statement via myself in relation to the Bonfire in the Village area of south Belfast: A clear threat of violence if police approach the bonfire site. @BelTel
BREAKING - Professional burglar Daniel Harty, who was on the run after walking out of an open prison in the UK, has been arrested by Gardai in the Trim area, Co Meath. Authorities in the UK now seeking his extradition. Story to follow @IrishSunOnline
