There are many conspiracies about, start with the first two books of the Conspiracy of Crows Trilogy. Bastards of Liberty & Maiden of Storms. Epic Fantasy based in a medieval Revolutionary America.

Finished. I need the next one now! Honestly, kind of surprised this isn't being adapted. It reads like a TV show, and I think it would transition well to the screen
