As Rubio said, in 1994 the US promised to protect Ukraine in return for giving up nuclear weapons ‘inherited’ from the USSR. Right now every civilised govt needs to prioritise reducing reliance on America for defence, trade - the whole lot. They are now a gangster state.
This is Marco Rubio explaining how the USA promised to defend Ukraine forever if they got rid of their nuclear arsenal left after the Soviet Union fell. This is why lil marco was sinking into the couch. He was hoping we wouldn’t find it…so don’t RT right now this very second.
Congratulations to @JamesCleverly for his very welcome return to the front benches! 🙌 A proven valuable asset to the @Conservatives and will be an absolute weapon at the dispatch box against @AngelaRayner and her cronies. 🥀 Welcome back Sir! 🇬🇧🌳
ULEZ works. Expanding the ULEZ wasn’t an easy decision, but the latest evidence shows it was the right one for the health of millions of Londoners. theguardian.com/environment/20…
Another boomer failing to recognise the more challenging circumstances younger people face. Long term work force sustainability requires the provision of adequate career progression opportunities for junior doctors. Like the opportunities Robert and his generation enjoyed!
Our patients deserve to be looked after by the best of resident doctors, regardless of where they trained.
A real problem for Labour. For all their talk of DEI they are an incredibly homogenous bunch. They don’t have people with meaningful business experience which makes true engagement with business nigh on impossible. Kinda suboptimal if driving growth is your priority Kier!
This is the CV of Oliver Newton, Head of Business Engagement for the Chancellor of the Exchequer. It is the maddest thing I have ever seen. If his CV came my way I would have many, many questions.
Graphic illustration of the perils of talking down the economy. Reeves and Starmer are directly responsible for nosediving business confidence - which as we’re already seeing is choking off the growth Sunak and Hunt were beginning to stimulate.

Possibly the greatest single male athletic performance of all time
While authoritarianism is now a reflex of the left, Labour hasn't passed a single law expanding police powers since elected. Current police attacks on free speech were all legislated by a Tory govt. The Tories can't reclaim conservatism until they face up to why they rejected it.
Sad to hear of the death of Howard Bernstein. Great public servant who worked with politicians from both parties to regenerate god’s own city of Manchester!
This incessant pandering to "black communities" is toxic, divisive & insulting. My race lends me no more cultural kinship with Chris Kaba than Rowley's does with Fred West. There are only 2 communities the police should be interested in, those who commit crimes & those who don't.
YES, SIR! 🫡 Take incredible catch ✅ Don't spill a drop ✅ Impress the coaches ✅
You teachers out there know just how impossible this is with a comprehensive intake… I can’t believe it!! 🙌🙌
Excuse my naivety. But if ‘clean’ energy can be generated as cheaply as the green lobby claim, then why does the taxpayer need to pay massive subsidies to entice wind farm developers to come other the party? theguardian.com/environment/ar…
Many Lab MPs posting pics like this. Massive hostage to fortune. Labour won’t prioritise spend on publicly owned rail over health, welfare etc… that’s one of the reasons why BR was so bad. Rail will get worse. These pics will then appear on every Tory leaflet in 5 years time
