#fantasyindiesjuly Day 27 I underwrite. I love going from that first to second draft because I get to layer in that second great layer of added nuance and detail once the first layer is in place. I usually add 10K during the first editing pass.
#FantasyIndiesJuly: Overwrite. Qualifiers (almost, some, quite, rather, very) are a big weakness of mine, though to be fair to myself, some of that is the quasi-Austenian dialogue.
#FantasyIndiesJuly day 27: Do you tend to underwrite or overwrite? Somehow, both!
#FantasyIndiesJuly Do you tend to overwrite or underwrite? A little of both! Sometimes I underwrite at first, then add details later. Other times I write "infodumps" which I cut later.
#FantasyIndiesJuly 27: Do you tend to underwrite or overwrite? A weird mix of both. My estimates of how long a manuscript will be are always wrong and I end up writing more, but that more is also usually not enough and I have to add even more in edits
#FantasyIndiesJuly 01: Introduction Hello! I'm Ayrton Silva, I write dark fantasy, and my main project right now is my Bloodmaster series (info below). My stories generally have morally challenged people, dangerous magic systems, and lots of fighting.

#FantasyIndiesJuly Day 26: Elysia has only confessed, or professed her love, audibly, and within Isabellaβs hearing a total of three times (a fourth time doesnβt count because she wasnβt conscious). Isabella has confessed several times more! π
#JulyThrills day 27 Dance wears green, & is a gardener, so I think it's safe to say he likes green. He's not in my main WIP though, & I don't plan to publish Healing's Stand.

#FantasyIndiesJuly 25: Saturday Snippet: Confession Back from vacation, so here's a quick catch-up. Most confessions in THE RILL LORD are spoilers but this one is just fun.
#Fantasyindiesjuly @ChesneyInfalt @LydiaVRussell Day 27: Do you underwrite or overwrite? Recently my chapters have expanded by a few hundred words with description and dialogue. Sometimes I shave off unnecessary or redundant sentences.
#Fantasyindiesjuly @ChesneyInfalt @LydiaVRussell Day 1: Introductions I am Coe. I'm taking some time off to recover from burns and deal with insurance after a fire. Work on the sequel is going slowly with only one hand. At least my head's clearer now that I'm off pain meds.
