Conflux of Christianity, Comics, Cryptids, and Creativity. Opinions my own, except when they're not. Have fun! Things get Random from here on out.
experimenting with a (now on blogspot) weekly release to my ode to American mythos, folklore, and the true fairy tale. Featuring famous names, cryptids, creatures out of myth, and as much real-world lore as I can possibly cram in. Link = in = bio
Now over to @Real_Ed_McCray for comment... lol!
The thing I dislike the most? Completely botching the landing for John Carter. The WORST thing? I mean...completely ruining their founder's reputation and legacy is probably a good choice.
how much Samurai Jack did you consume in making Jack Irons?
I like to think in his journeys after this, he came across her people and liberated them anyway, without ever making the connection to this warrior princess turned assassin.
how DARE a creator market and monetize his own genius. BTW... if you've never seen anything Mystery Flesh Pit, go remedy that situation. It's amazing!
Blindsided by the responses to this. I expected a lot more cynicism and accusations of selling out. I know this would make money, so I’ll almost certainly pursue it in the future. My promise to you is that it will be worth your time.
like as in "Bride of Frankenstein"?
How do we feel about a “Mystery Flesh Pit 2”?
got to baptize two of my own kids and welcome two other new members to my church today. Blessed privilege.
looks awesome.
Think I’ve finished the pencils. Bigfoot and snakes are apparently harder for me to draw than what I remember.
meanwhile, in Devil's Den, Gettysburg. @BrainyPixel check out this art. Right up our alley. lol
Bigfoot v Giant Snake. Colors are a bit mid but I still like it! Looking to get back to doing 2 illustrations a week soon now that I’m done with vacation!
Lakota, Cherokee, and other mythologies, lots of cryptids and folklore, and a few made-up elements like elemental lords - Pietr, Kringle, and Mari (the rest fell ages ago). This whole work (now +1000 pages) is a love letter to North American mythology in all its forms.

I'm proud to say I still never read the Deerslayer even though it was a part of my English degree, also wrote a paper and scored a B on it in Othello without fully reading that either. I'm slightly ashamed of the Othello thing, but have absolutely no regrets of never reading…
Haters. 🙄
these stories are why I'm fascinated and terrified by the deep ocean.
It's not even close
wow... Proverbs drops the bomb on DEI - Prov. 17:26 "Also to punish the just is not good, nor to strike princes for equity."
Help! Looking for this artifact in someone’s collection: the mask of the Gilyuk (Alaskan ABSM). @CryptoLoren @CryptozooMuseum

Descriptive grammar sometimes goes too far. Is “calender” a word too, just because so many people misspell it? How about “ocassion”?
bots must be swarming and getting swatted, because my follower count keeps going up and down and I'm not being any stranger than normal.
