I write stuff. People seem to like what I write. Maybe you will, too.
People say this sort of thing doesn’t happen. I have loved ones and friends who say this sort of thing doesn’t happen. It happened. And I expect it’s still happening.
A Literary Agent Told Fantasy Author Blake Carpenter His Book Was Cast Aside "To Make Room For #OwnVoices," And He Left Mainstream Publishing Behind
So close. I need that final push to 50. If you like Norse historical fantasy then give it a shot! Link in pinned post.
Another sales post bump. I'm starting to wind down on these, but if my story interests you at all, I'd be grateful if you'd take a look. Thank you.
Don't know if you've heard, but I've got a new book out. After someone kills Inga Alenir, she doesn't stay dead...and now she's trying to figure out how to fix that. She's heard about this magic sword called Lifebinder that might help—but she has to find it first. Links below.
Ok. Been a rough 2 weeks of sales so…why not? All 8 (yes eight) books of Weapons of Choice for 99c/p in the US and UK. A countdown deal. Bonkers? Probably, but I need sales for motivation! Don’t miss this! On until 28th July as I was slightly inebriated when I set it up👇link
Some recent reviews of After Moses. This one laments that we don't get to spend more time in the settings. I can say that it's a very good thing I spend book 1 establishing these settings and then take some very deep dives into them over the next five books. Bk 2, Prodigal, for…

4 Indie Alternatives To The Punisher That Capture The Character's Feel Better Than Marvel
Every backcountry church south of the Mason-Dixon had a basement that looks exactly like this.
As much as it pains me to have to post this or even ask for help. I could use your help with my fundraiser on GoFundMe. Please share, support, or donate—every small action counts. gofundme.com/f/rally-for-st…
The use of live action completely spoil this movie. Still very good, but not great.
On my binge watch of older Pixar films, I came across Wall-E for the first time in over a decade. The movie works really well as a love story, but the writing felt just a bit... clunky to me. Like it meandered a bit more than it needed to. Still solid, but it's far from my…
Will be talking more about audiobook soon. Most of the work is done. It's recorded. I'll be doing a kickstarter to get a quicker return on investment to be hopefully be able to justify putting bk 2 in audio. I know not everyone does audiobooks. If that's you, I'm planning a…
Proof once again that certain words have progressed beyond meaning.

Inspired by @SWHannahAuthor, I'm kicking off a new series diving into the first chapters or samples of books on my TBR list! 📚 I'll share my honest thoughts on the ones that grabbed me and those that didn't quite make the cut. Let's find some gems!
Where’d the D&D-inspired Epic fantasy Readers go? Month’s drawing to a close. Would be cool to get 2 more sales. It’s free on KU and you can hear me reading the first 3 chapters on my YouTube. Give it a try. 🔗👇

And you should, too!
I grabbed a copy of Lifebinder by @BCarpenterBooks. Check it out!
1st Chapter Sample Thread! Post a link to your indie/selfpub book. We’ll read the first chapter of every single one, then tag the ones we liked and add them to our TBR! For those we don’t, we’ll explain why without naming the book/author. Any genre, no rules, but no AI please!
I’m blown away by people willing to take a chance on my second Spellsword book. I know Lifebinder isn’t the same story that Deathbringer was—it’s a sequel, a continuation of a larger narrative—but I do hope people enjoy it and stay invested for what’s yet to come. Thank you.

Isn't it strange how caged dogs never get chased by the dogcatcher?
