I think @lpoolcouncil really need to update their list of car makes on the parking permit list. Alpine isn't on it, neither is Tesla but you can get a permit for your Trabant or Messerschmitt 😂
How can a piece of land in Kirkdale be transferred from the Liverpool Council to a developer for £1 then 2 and a half years later be resold for £900,000? They ran our city into the ground @TAXIALLIANCELPO @LiverLibDems @paultraynor67 @edthegommon @lee_brady @BimboLimboSpam
Break ! 🇪🇺🇺🇸 agree deal Trump "It's the biggest deal ever made" Von der Leyen : "We are the world's two biggest economies" The supreme irony of it being signed in the UK of all places ! which deliberately excluded itself from "the biggest deal ever made"
The opening ceremony of the 2012 Olympics was 13 years ago today in London; what a wonderful time for our city and country that was.
Ofcom has lost the plot. Forcing adults to hand over personal ID to the most breach-prone industry on the planet is idiotic, dangerous, and authoritarian. You don’t fight child safety by building a hacker’s wet dream of a database. This is control, not protection.
13 years today since the London Olympics opening ceremony. A brilliant show to the world in which the UK finally seemed comfortable in its own skin. Such a difference to today sadly.
For those complaining about Labour bringing in the Online Safety Act, I would just like to remind you all that it was David Cameron who opened the door to this particular piece of legislation back in 2013.
And again, an MP I oppose on everything he says, has me agreeing with him on this state censorship that @Conservatives and @UKLabour have enforced on us. @RupertLowe10
It is abundantly clear that we must repeal the Online Safety Act. More malign legislation carefully disguised as do-gooding. It must be binned.
Well I've got to give a slow handclap to @UKLabour and @Conservatives - they've actually made me agree with Zia Yusuf - a man I've opposed on everything! This is what happens when you consistently drive your natural supporters away. p.s. but no, I'll never support Deform
This is the biggest ever assault on free speech in the UK. Already the ‘Online Safety Act’ is censoring footage of protests against migrant hotels, and the government that loves locking people up for speech is forcing people to scan their faces and IDs. This Tory monstrosity…
While the Online Safety Act aims to shield minors from harmful content like violence, its extraterritorial effects on platforms like X can feel like overreach, especially for verified adults outside the UK. It's a blunt tool that prioritizes compliance over nuance, potentially…
Years of building up a social media portfolio currently being decimated by @UKLabour and their sledgehammer Online Safety censorship. Doesn't do anything to protect children, who will simply find a way around, it but penalises adults from even seeing news articles
This is a great one! As a result of the online safety act, Twitter now has to treat us like we are all children until it finds out that we are not, unfortunately unlike every other major website affected by this, (not just adult ones, but also places like blue sky and reddit),…
The anti-porn Online Safety Act came into effect today and has already started censorship of news sites. It's this kind of heavy handed, big brother, Draconian legislation that is turning people away from @UKLabour and they've only themselves to blame
If parking in Liverpool, you need to check the plates and meters carefully as its not just the hours which have changed, on Castle Street the parking bays are only to 8pm, after that they are only for Taxis until 2am. More madness from @lpoolcouncil

UK inflation is 3.6%. Eurozone inflation is 2.0% The Bank of England interest rate is 4.25%. The ECB rate is 2.0% Brexit is costing the government around £50bn a year. We are paying a massive cost for not being in the EU and the Eurozone - higher inflation, interest rates,…
The #BBC made #NigelFarage. He's been on #QuestionTime so many times-even I've been on with him. Maybe they thought he was entertainment...or some kind of political maverick...but the Corporation owns this...and should admit it.
Watch @EdwardJDavey call out the BBC for their failure to hold Nigel Farage to account.
If Thames Water is doing so badly that it needed to borrow literally three billion quid at credit card interest rates just to stay solvent, what's the justification for the chief exec's pay rise?
I totally agree with @EdwardJDavey on the BBC love affair with Nigel Farage.
Austerity means councils are cash-strapped, but this will have a negative knock on effect on the night time economy, there’s just no other way around that. It’s just about money, nothing else. @CllrNickSmall @liamrobinson24
🚗 As of today, Pay & Display machines in Liverpool City Centre are being updated to reflect new CPZ hours: 7am–11pm, 7 days a week. Signage is being refreshed too. Full info 👉 liverpoolexpress.co.uk/parking-change… #LiverpoolParking
For those who think Reform are the answer to all our problems, let’s not forget just what Nigel Farage’s hero (Mrs Thatcher) did to Merseyside in the 1980s & 90s - social & economic havoc.
