The rescissions package saves the American people $9 billion — or roughly the budget of the entire state of Iowa. As an added bonus, taxpayers will no longer be forced to fund partisan propaganda like this.

The rescissions bill is less than 5 pages in length and represents 0.001% of the federal budget. We're 37 trillion in debt. If Dems want to threaten a shut down over cutting 'gender diversity in the Mexican street lighting industry'... they can explain that to their voters.
