Teaching Sunday School today, a teenage girl shared that she thought God sent her a song that helped her with a trial in her life. This album helped me in the early days when my sister died and was my mind when I made this sculpture. Do you think you’ve ever been sent a song?
O Kriolú A sculpture I created celebrating the beautiful people of Cape Verde 🇨🇻. I had the opportunity to live on the island of São Nicolau in my early 20s and loved to their interactions with the sea.

Initial sketch of the 7 angels pouring plagues vs. the final sculpt. Initially I had thought of the plague angels wearing flowing robes with hoods as seen in the sketch but as I worked through, I lost the robes and hoods but instead high waisted belts. Revelation 15
I’ve been following this photography for a a little while, the images he has been catching of the sun and the moon have been stunning and have me contemplating my sculpture from Revelation 12 all over again.
Sometimes while photographing the sun I just stop & stare for a moment. It's almost unbelievable that all this is happening over our heads... yet it is, and we get to watch it. I've been documenting the sun's increased activity in new ways, just wait til you see what's coming!
I might be a bit of a misanthrope, but I will take my art made by and for humans free of A.I. slop all day long.
You get the vibe that Silicon Valley is working very, very hard to abolish the human being. Whereas I like human beings, I like them a great deal.
The central figure in my relief titled “And There Appeared a Wonder in Heaven”, this figure is a depiction of the pregnant woman “clothed in the sun” from Revelation 12. I find the depiction of the Dea Gravida motif across cultures and beliefs systems to fascinating. #deagravida

It’s toss up for me between who I think illustrated the most beautiful women, McGinnis or Frazetta. I imagine Frank in heaven showing McGinnis around the art studios in heaven, where the models are heavenly and always show up on time. RIP, huge inspiration to me, what a legacy.
