Writing guides all made for my new Year 6 class! With guides and steps to success for everything from capital letters, apostrophes and commonly misspelled words to figurative language and formal/ informal language, there’s something to help every child improve their writing.

Here's a Google Drive link with the badly completed arithmetic and reasoning papers from 2017-2022 featuring common misconceptions and errors to use in lessons. I shared these recently but had issues with Dropbox, so here's an alternative! drive.google.com/drive/folders/…
What class names have you had as a teacher? Over the years and across two schools, I’ve been Herons, Woodpeckers, Snowy Owls, Barn Owls, Ducks and Swans
I’m trying to use Instagram more- here’s the link if you’d like to follow me! instagram.com/sarahfarrellks…

D12s are one of my favourite additions to a classroom. Such a simple times tables game to do alone or in pairs- just roll and multiply!
I feel like at this point it would just be easier to start a new email address!

How cute is this little propagation helper who’s holding my cutting for me?

It's now June, so I am giving away my monthly class set of a book from my bookshop @ANewChapterBks. Simply retweet to win, and please bear me in mind when buying books! [email protected]
Saturday morning maths puzzle! Each box is the sum of the two boxes below it. Can you arrange the numbers 1-5 along the bottom row so that the top box is a prime number?

Back in February, I joined a running club to help with motivation to get back into running. This morning, I ran my first 10k!

What a half term present from my mum- a signed copy of Think Again by Jacqueline Wilson!

I’d like to follow more local teachers- any other Bristol/ South-West teachers here?
